In this dream I had you couldn't kill the heroes
The villains whispered their plans in your ear as you slept
The boys still believed the world had more to show them
And the girls still believed in happily ever after
My head it feels like running
From this tangled web of intricate lies
A mask for a mask for a mask of a broken head
Broken fingers writing a legend that no one can remember
A sea of whispered tears to ring a sinking ship
Wind to call out your secrets from their hiding places
Mirrors shattered at your feet for good luck
A lost boy so far from home
His eyes made of glass beads
And his little heart held together
By the stitches of your words
