Remus looked at the piece of paper where he'd been sketching out ideas for the home he and Snape were planning, and realized that he hadn't touched quill to paper for almost ten minutes. As a distraction technique it wasn't working at all. He shoved the paper away and got up, quickly finding himself pacing the room. He was sure that it was bothering Sev, who was calmly reading a book, but he couldn't stop himself. In less then half an hour Teddy would be here. He'd invited the young man to tea in an effort to get to know him, perhaps to figure out what they were or wanted to be to each other.
Was there anything more nerve wracking then waiting for the already grown son you probably would never have to arrive for tea with you and your lover? If there was it was hard to imagine it.
"Merlin," he muttered as he continued to pace.
