This started out as an entry only about the new trend in advertising where the companies are saying that their products are better because they are patriotic. Instead this will be about many of the problems with advertising including the biggest one of all

Good points, Jeff. I saw this commercial at the movies last night with all of these leprecauhns and witches and magical creatures sitting around talking about where to make their new home or something. Then they all go into some Mitsubishi Mini van, and they show the van glowing as it drives down the highway. Then there's a voiceover saying how magical the new Mitsubishi mini van is. It's the most ridiculous car commercial I've ever seen. The company spent all this money on special effects that had nothing to do with the product they were selling. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridicuous. I hate advertising. Peace out. Good entry.
