I wish I was Piper from Charmed. Because she could stop time. I'm thinking, maybe I could stop time for a week or so, and that way I wouldn't have to go to work/college. I could just read, watch some teev, and catch up on LJ. Oh, and of course, write fic.
I still have tables to finish for the
2dozenowies comm, and fics to write from challenges long past (an extra helping of apologies with strawberries on top for last year's Lost Luau queens - I know I promised to get around to writing for everyone, but real life just kind of stopped me. I'll try to do better this year, even if it's only drabbles for everyone!). It just seems like there's no end to the list of endless crap I have to do day after day, and the fic always gets pushed to the bottom of the list.
And now, of course, is when the plotbunnies decide to bite. I had all this total inspiration last night for some new CM fics - some very porny CM fics, in fact. Don't know why, because NC-17 isn't usually not my thing (to write, that is - I love to read it, if it's well-written). But I had an idea for a JJ/Emily fic that's burning a hole in the pages of my notebook, and I'm considering a Garcia/Emily, purely because there isn't enough of it about.
I still want to join some new fandoms when I have the time. CSI, Bones, SVU, Oz, Queer As Folk, The L Word, Nip/Tuck (I have a very slashy Sean/Christian fic in note form atm). And that's just for starters.
Sigh.
As for the CM finale, season 3 won't even start here until Wednesday (and yes, I am spoiled as all hell, but I'm still unplugging the phone and taping the ep even while I'm watching it), but I've read the finale spoilers already anyway. And I have this to say to Ed Bernero and the CM writers: team no go 'splodey, plzkthx. I have a feeling it's Will that gets killed. I have nothing against him, I liked him in Jones, and I think he'd make a good babydaddy. But I can't cope with any of my beloved BAU being blown up. I dealt with Elle leaving, and have recovered from Mandygate only through love of Joe Mantegna and his awesomeness. I can't take another one!
And the script site really needs to be updated, because I'm dying over here. Really.
