the end of summer
my boss approved my time off for the end of august. yay so if lizzie visits at least i won't have to work. and if she doesn't get to visit i want to make a trip up to san francisco! i really don't think i'll have that much money bc i just remembered i will have to pay for transportation sooo hmm maybe i'll go to san diego or malibu or something.
and when am i going to mexico? it's so close now it seems wrong not to make a trip down there. so many places to go, so little cash flow. hahaha
other than that work is good. i thought boss man was all angsty with everyone but just turns out he was just frustrated. as long as i'm not in any serious trouble i don't care. i still have to put on my serious face though when he is mad bc he gets all super quiet which i find really funny. he talks so low you have to actually strain your ears to hear what he is saying. i think it's his version of not screaming at us. which is cool. i respect the fact that he doesn't feel he should have to yell at us bc we are all adults. makes for a much more awesome work environment.
apparently fonz had to step down from doing phase changes which kind of hurts his chances at proving he is ready to be promoted to being an assistant store manager. kind of sucks but sometimes you have tomake tough choices. he is in charge of the back of house too and apparently two team members have been fucking everything up for everyone which is causing a lot of problems. uh oh! i'm excited to hear what happens.
other than that i have been being a total bum. i thought about actually going to the gym. i think i've packed on a few extra pounds that i really don't need. yikes! i've watched 3 seasons of The Hills in 2 days. for the past couple of weeks i just spend all day watching movies on my days off. you would think it was winter or something. hahaha i try going some places but sometimes it's really boring and then when it's over 100 degress it makes you feel all tired. actually i'm pretty sure i'm just being lazy but whatever. i "was going to" invite jon and his wifey out to the movies but then i got super lazy about it.
at work angelique is pretty tolerable when she is not complaining even though most of her stories are kind of boring. oh, was that mean? whatever. she talks about her dieting a lot. she went on some crazy ass diet at first where she was seriously eating 10 almonds or one boiled egg for lunch. i would seriously pass out at work. OR i would stuff my face hardcore as soon as i got home and ruin it all. but now she is on a 1200 calorie a day diet or some shit. she always talks about how fat she is and makes it sound like she weighs 500 lbs. that's why i always laugh bc it's like you think you're a whale? go watch Biggest Loser and you will feel SOOOO much better about yourself. or not but at least it's funny when fatties try to run and then they trip and fall and throw up and then start crying. if i had to do that shit yeah i probably would get a huge stomach cramp and then trip but i would probably just start laughing and asking someone to throw me a donut. HAHAHAHAHA omg i crack myself up sooooooo HARD!
sometimes i'll be laughing about something so funny like how someone's face is crooked or how they are so stupid and then i think about how Lizzie is always cracking up about the voices that are talking to her in her head and how she probably looks like a crazy person laughing all alone but then it happens to me and i laugh even harder. and you know i can't laugh normally, i have to throw my head back and witch cackle as a normal reflex.
omg can you believe the first week of august has already gone! ahhhhh! where did the summer goooooo!? i'm kind of ready for fall though. cute boots and all that jazz. not that i will get to go home to new england and see the leaves but i'm sure i can find somewhere around here with some nice foliage.
oh right alan finally got back to me and he is going to come and visit in september. apparently for one night we will be staying at some fancy hotel that i don'thave to pay for which i am toooootally cool with. i'm not going to ask why he wants it to be his treat. the less questions i ask the more i'm hoping to get. so i REALLY hope i get the time off bc i think it wil be super fun to hang out with him and jon. last time i saw jon was halloween when we all went out and then him and alan refused to sexify each other all over the dance floor and then jon was an old man and had to cut out early and spent an hour taking a nap in the car. HAHAHA
