give us this day...
Today was beautiful. For many reasons.
I rode my bike and for the first time, didn't feel taxed when I got to work. I was satisfactorily busy while there. Productive.
After work I rode/coasted down to12th to get my mail then got coffee at Vivace and sat at Cal Anderson enjoying it, as well as the sun fading behind the buildings. Very nice.
This could have been me:
same partial fountain, same beverage, same repose.... but it wasn't. It was
brokn2pieces. He took this photo mere minutes of when I arrived in the same spot. Weird. We didn't cross paths. Unfortunate.
Then I came home but left right away to the store to get the fixins for this (warning to the vegans) delicious meal:
It was a perfectly and simply pulverized NY steak on a bed of crazy good onions.
Now it looks like this:
And I feel quite satisfied.
Plus - when I was making it - I got an email from the landlord, unsolicited, saying they are ok w/ a dog! He gave a 20lb limit, but that's fine by me! I got so excited. He just has to get back to me w/ the going rate on pet deposits.
Who knows - maybe next week I'll look like this:
