Hey all,

It's been a while, as I don't know if anyone is actually reading this in LiveJournal anymore, seeing as i post in her thrice a year at most (hence the Facebook and MySpace x-post), but here goes....

I'm in the throes of my usual winter depression.  This go-round (my second year being medicated for it, albeit medicated year-round), I'm on 40

In conclusion, the MAIN, MOST IMPORTANT THING EVER!! Is to be happy, with yourself, with what your doing, even if it is not yet, the end result. If you are intent on working towards a goal, what it is you want out of life, then you will get there! I know you know that these things don't just happen overnight, and you may feel as though you've already paid you dues and you're like wtf, when is it my turn?? So, Don't give up, and look for the light at the end of the tunnel, don't just expect to see it. Try to appreciate life, the highs and lows, there is only one life we get so enjoy the things that you already have and gradually yearn for the things you don't have yet . .you will treasure them so much more. . Be positive, know that you aspire and influence others in great ways. , Know that you have, perhaps one of the most sacred, wonderful awards one can achieve in life, the love, respect and genorosity of a good, loyal woman and friend. .We all get our turn Pat, and like those awards, perhaps people less fortunate, or deserving, or even just a regular friend, whom you're very fond of gets it before you, and that green demon starts to show again, don't get washed away by the looming, gigantic tide, or cower under a billowing monsoon, just have faith and Good Fortune will, follow through. Life can't always be perfect and neither can we, as humans (haven't gotten to explore the alien population yet, they may have it better lol) but it is not designed to be that way, you just have to, like you stated perfectly, be focused to achieve the goals that you want out of life.
