I never realized how exhausting the Christmas season can be. The bakery was just a mad house these last few weeks. People demanding special orders. I've worked all types of overtime to get things done to help the poor owner. But I wasn't done after the work at the bakery I also made Christmas lunch and different goodies for Ali and Willem. It was so wonderful to spend Christmas with Ali and Willem so I didn't mind.
Mama and Papa called to talk with me on Christmas Eve but I didn't pick up their call. After all the things that happened recently I just didn't want to talk with them. They called a few days but I never answered.
But after the issues with Mama and Papa I was very excited for WIllem coming over for Christmas lunch. We had so much fun. I hadn't even realized how much I missed having Ali and Willem around for Christmas. I think I may have made too much food. We had quite a bit left, so much so that I sent some home with Willem and Ali and I have been eating the leftovers the last few days. I made sure to make all of Ali and Willems' favorite dishes. I also wore the apron that Willem bought for me, it's so cute and so useful I'm glad he's so thoughtful. Willem and I decided I would bring Abby and Alice over to visit with his rabbit some time soon I think all three of them will have fun.
Alice is still a bit shaken up from Christmas. She decided that the tree was just too shiny to resist and she got herself tangled in the tree poor dear. Willem had to get her out before she hurt herself or the tree. She spent the rest of the day cuddled with me I think it really spooked her.
I'm looking forward to a small lull in business at the bakery and the time to relax before classes begin again,
