Fun-Packed Saturday of Insanity

Yesterday was probably one of the most activity-oriented days I have ever had in my damn life. It not only involved firing real guns, but it also involved watching people trip out like it was their last day to live.

S'okay, I first went to the Smith & Wesson gun range Springfield where I shot what is considered illegal for normal people to carry, a compact 9mm that holds twelve rounds. It was really light and had like no barrel, so it was fairly difficult for the first time, but I did pretty well and managed to hit the target plenty of times, with a few bullseye shots. Next I tried a "competition" (scary there is such a thing) 9mm that held nine rounds, and it was pretty burly. It weight a lot more, had a much longer barrel, and was pretty damn easy to shoot. Overall I think I could manage well using a gun, but I don't really want to. I was a little scared to hear some of my friends, of which two were girls and one guy, talking about how they loved "the sliding action after putting the clip in." I like knowing how to use weapons for self-defense, but it makes me nervous hearing people liking to handle guns like that. I don't think it was anything serious, but it just gets me worried and I feel the need to be cautious.

After that the ladies decided we would go see "Meet the Robinson's" which I had no idea was a Disney Pixar movie. We had to wait a few hours to go see it, so we went to the mall where I got some fancy new shoes for spring, to Northampton to grab some burritos from Bueno Y Sano, and then to my house to watch some south park before the movie. So, the movie, it was actually really funny. I can't describe why, but all I can say is that everyone in the future, according to Disney, will be on acid. I highly recommend it.

After that I went to Kyle Mooney, world-class bassist and extraordinaire, where I sampled some Warsteiner beer from germany. Holy shit was that stuff good, and it made "The Chronicles of Narnia," the movie we were watching at the time seem really good. Everyone got pissed at me because I wouldn't stress the "V" sound of a W, according to german fancy. After that we were trying to find a party to go, but everyone was pretty damn tired because apparently they went to the Moan and Dove bar for like four hours before I showed up. Thankfully, I got a call from my friend Danielle who invited me to our friend Adam's sick house.

There was not a ton of people, but about twenty people in all, enough for a relaxing and chill night. I guess everyone was on acid, which made me feel weird because I don't like that shit at all. But everyone there seemed level headed and responsible about it so I let my anti-drug attitude settle. I got really drunk and high to the point where after ridiculous conversation for hours I just passed out. I didn't want to because I needed to do a lot of work today... but damn.... it just could not be helped.

And that was just saturday...
