Got safety shoes at work this week - protect the toes! Also used a fire extinguisher for the first time on a burning hood. It took more pressure than I would have thought to squeeze the lever thingy. Aim low. That's what I learned.
Found good Thai food, finally! And had a Thai iced tea. Yummy!
Finished the second book in the Night Angel series by Brent Weeks. I probably won't start the third one tonight. Those books are only okay. There are parts that are really interesting and captivating, but when it comes time to writing dialogue, it kinda loses its clout. The characters seem immature. It's good to read a different style, though. All to make me better.
Philadelphia Zoo tomorrow, as well as cheesesteaks! I'm pretty excited. It'll be my first time in the city, and I do enjoy zoos.
