Lemme start this off by saying that I CAN'T HEAR SHIT!!! Don't go in there man that isn't the bathroom. That is the WOOOOOOOFFFFFFEEEEEERR!
Every band except Conceived By Fire was freakin' amazing. I say except C.B.F. because they had 2 members of the band that were totally into the music and 2 other members that were almost statuesque. I can't stand it when band members in a metalcore band just stand still. I mean sure, they have a SHIT TON of cords to play on their guitar at ridiculously high speeds, but come ON!
I liked The Nain Rouge so much that I bought their newest CD. I got a few free sample CDs as well. Their performace was pretty sweet. The lead singer and the guitarist were all falling over and slamming their guitars at the end of the show.
Rellik was pretty hardcore. They were dressed in cammo and had their faces painted. I enjoyed the guitarist the most. He got REALLY into their stuff on some of the songs and started stomping around like Godzilla. It was crazy.
I got raped by a bunch of jailbait this evening as well. A whole bunch of little fashionxcore/gothic girls were grinding up and all over me during And The Sky Went Red. Apparently the band was pretty well known even though I never heard of them before the gig. Of corse all the girls like the lead singer like he is the hottest dude on Earth so they all ran toward the front to see him. Well... I was in the very front row for the entire show so that I could see Dead To Fall up close and personal. These girls swarmed in and around me. Then the bumping and grinding began. At first it was fun, then it was annoying, then it was just plain wrong. Dry raping is fucking wrong!
My favorite part of the night was when Dead To Fall came out. They kept saying a bunch of retarded stuff and I had no idea what they were talking about until this roadie who moves around their equipment filled me in on what was going on. I loved it. He told me about this mini band on myspace call The Fucking Shit 5,000. They are hysterical!! Go to their space at:

It was fun watching Dead To Fall set up all their equipment because they kept repeating all these strange lines from the song on The Fucking Shit 5,000's page.
So yeah. I had an intimate relationship with the lead singer of Dead To Fall. We sang a few songs together. Including All My Heroes Have Failed Me and Smoke and Mirrors.
My lines: "All my heroes have failed me!! And all your heroes will fail you!!" ... "Tomorrow none of you will mean a GOD DAMN THING!!"
He was using my head as a post to get up on the railings and walk around. The show was intense. We would start throwing our hands up and then he'd get right up close to me and we'd head bang together.
I was in the front row the whole freakin' time!!
Worst part of the whole thing was when my glasses fell off. I got really scared right then and there and thought that I might be blind for the rest of the show and that I might be set back by a couple hundred dollars from losing my glasses, but things turned out for the best and I was able to pick them up from right by my feet. They were unharmed.
The night was pretty amazing. I planned for it to be and it was. Finally something went right for a change. I can actually say that I had a LOT of fun tonight.
When I got back I called Gayle cause she had called a couple times wondering what was up. She didn't answer, but she called back again a few minutes later. She was going to get drunk tonight. I told her about the show and told her to call me back when she was drunk.
So... she did!
It was pretty entertaining. Even though it was 2 in the morning (1 hour ago). I love talking to my friends drunk. They just can't stop telling me how great I am. [Can you see my head getting bigger?] Ok... ego check.
So Amber and Gayle were both rollin' pretty good and they are supposed to post pictures of themselvs talking to me on the phone. Lol. We'll see if that happens.
Anyway all, I've had a good night for a change and I'll be back in less then 3 weeks!!!
