Blizzard- Part III

Glad to have finally ended my conversation (if I could call it that) with Fin, I pin Alex with my gaze as I slowly close my phone and drop it over the edge of the bed. “You, Ms. Cabot, did not behave as asked,” I say to her, my voice so low it’s almost a growl, “Whatever are we going to do about that?”

Alex’s wide blue eyes are locked to mine, her blonde hair spread out on the pillow behind her and an enticing amount of skin now lying open in front of me, like a buffet. I break eye contact with her for a moment to let my gaze travel downward, appreciating the soft curves of her body, and the pale expanse of skin now freed from its coverings. My eyes travel back up just as slowly, and the look in her eyes is enough to physically jolt me. Need-complete and wanton need-staring back at me from her gorgeous baby blues. Behind it is a softer, more powerful emotion. Love.

We haven’t gone there yet, haven’t said the words, but the emotion is there, plain as day. I don’t have to be a crack detective to see it, and for a time, it overwhelms me. I pull my eyes away from her, shifting my eyes towards the sheets to hide my reaction to what I see. “Liv?” she asks, her voice soft and sweet to my ears, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” I murmur, my voice sounding husky for reasons unrelated to my libido at the moment, “Nothing’s wrong.”

I take a deep breath and bring my gaze back to her, forcing a cocky smile. She smiles back, and the very sight of it melts my heart. I lean down and my demeanor has suddenly changed. Far from being the predator stalking prey, I suddenly need to worship her with my lips. My kiss is soft against her, my hands sliding up to either side of her face to hold her there, thumbs stroking the soft skin of her cheeks. My tongue traces her lips once more, begging entry, but gently this time, seeking to show her without words that I know what she feels, and that all she feels is mirrored in my own heart.

Alex’s hands slide up my back again and wrap around my neck. With gentle insistence, she pulls me closer until I am lying across her with the full weight of my body, and there is no space between us. Her hands travel along my sides, sliding under my t-shirt and tugging it away from my skin. I lift up and break my lips away from her momentarily to allow the t-shirt to be pulled off and discarded. Lowering myself again, the skin to skin contact feels so incredible I can’t help but sigh, dropping my head to her shoulder.

She laughs lightly, her hand finding the back of my head and running slowly through the short hair there, her nails lightly scratching my scalp. “Like what you feel, detective?” she whispers, her breath hot in my ear.

“No,” I say, lifting my eyes to meet hers once more, “I love it. I-I love you.”

I feel my cheeks start to heat as the words leave my mouth. The fingers playing with the hair at the nape of my neck are suddenly still, and her eyes, which were sparkling with laughter moments before are suddenly glistening with tears. One slips out and I raise my finger to brush it away. Her hand comes up, trapping my hand as it pulls away. She opens my hand, palm facing her, and presses a soft kiss there before knitting her fingers with mine. Her eyes are still locked on mine and she smiles, gently. “You love me?” she asks with a small smile.

I blush again and look away. Why is this so hard for me? Her free hand finds my face, guiding my eyes back to her. Her eyes are clear and her expression open and honest as she kisses me once on the lips. “I love you too, Olivia Benson,” she whispers against my mouth.

My heart pounds at the verbal confirmation of what I had seen in her eyes, and I find myself urgently needing to feel more of her against me. My lips once again press hers for entry, which she grants, as my hands sweep up her sides, pushing her shirt off of her shoulders. My lips fall to the newly exposed skin there, licking and nipping and I travel across her collar bone and down the valley between her two pert breasts. I neatly palm one of her breasts; running my thumb over the fabric and feeling her nipple harden slightly more against me. She groans at the contact, her eyes seeking mine and begging for more.

I smile, sliding my fingers toward the center of her front clasp bra, deftly undoing it do that the once-taut fabric slackens under my hands. Easing it aside, I am free to lower my mouth to her mounds, dragging my tongue along the soft skin, staying just shy of where I know she really wants me to be. I gently brush my fingers against one exposed nipple before catching it between my thumb and forefinger and squeezing gently. “Oh, fuck,” Alex moans, “Olivia… Christ.”

“Such sacrilege,” I murmur, smiling at her as she tosses her head against the pillow, “What would the boys think if they could hear our smooth-talking, always composed ADA right now?”

She groans and grabs my wrist, pulling my hand away, while the other hand again finds the back of my head. Pulling me close, she licks her lips once and then looks at me. “You know they’d just want to watch,” she husks, before bringing my lips to hers for a fiercely passionate kiss that leaves me breathless.

As we kiss, her hands slide around my back to undo the clasp of my bra, and then deft hands shove it off my shoulders. Her nails bite against the skin of my back as she thrusts her hips up to meet mine, eliciting a moan from me as her pubic bone touches my center. She puts both hands on the side of my head and looks at me, her eyes burning. “Now, Detective,” she says crisply, “If you are quite finished with the verbal sparring, I believe that we have other things to take care of at the moment beyond my choice of vocabulary. Are we clear?”

I grin back at her. “Crystal, Ms. Cabot.”

Her smile is that of a well-fed predator. “Good,” she says, “I believe that you are quite overdressed for what I have in mind. Allow me to take care of that for you.”

To be continued…
