Something Happy, Something Sad
Hey there, whats cracking? something Happy its Dean's Birthday \O/ yeah, yeah fictional character so what, he has my heart. I made a birthday post HERE @ dean_sam you know I like to make things unusual or humorous.
Now for the sad, as you know I was caught in a rainstorm last week, it caught Cali by surprise as its totally out of the norm for us, we were hit with every thing, hard rain, hail, thunder, lightning, wind, you name it we got it. I think back now about a couple of times I said to dreams_of_honey that I would love a good rain storm because its something we practically never get, big mistake I got what I wanted and then some, Anita did ya put a hex on me or something? ;)
This is about the level of my street, hey that almost looks like my car! I wanted to share just how bad it was, the flooding was totally unexpected no one even prepared for it except the mountain and hill folks, but us city folk never saw it coming.
I think people will actually obey this sign
poor kids nice job helping each other out
trees down in lots of places
power lines down
and OMG the flooded streets
boating and surfing on the streets? un heard of
cars getting swallowed
freeways were no exeption
