I really like this song. That's what kills me.
This is Tom Morello. If that name doesn't sound familiar, his guitar work should be. Rage Against the Machine. Audioslave.
Here's a
picture of him. Isn't that the most darling Mao cap you've ever seen? And there's a hammer and sickle emblem. Precious. Do you really think Morello supports a defunct communist regime that killed 25 million of their own people? Or perhaps Tom is merely a fan of police states and state-induced poverty?
Let's find out.
Here he is talking about how, through music, he wants to overthrow the US government and inspire people to burn down the White House. So he's not above seeding the bit torrent of mass murder.
But that was during the Bush presidency.
Now he is more of a troubadour of Occupy slackers, singing empty tropes about how good unions are. How evil corporations are.
Hey, wasn't this song put out by an evil corporation?
It appears Morello wears his Marxism like gay men (passing for straight) wear their leather chaps. With his hypocritical ass cheeks airing in the breeze.
"Me and my people are hungry." Pleeeeeeze, Tommy. You know you've never missed a meal. And whose people are you referring to? You're from Libertyville, Illinois, for Christ sake. Your mother's Italian.
Dear reader, do me a favor, listen to the music - but steal the song. Don't pay for it. This man is nothing but a Che Guevara t-shirt salesman. He wouldn't know a revolution if it came with a turn table.
