I've finished mt 3rd day of the semester and things have been relatively hectic and stressful lately but I guess I knew that was coming. I'm glad to be on campus and I'm happy to see all my friends again. I missed them over the summer so it's nice to see them all.
My classes are either really tough or they're boring and they put me to sleep. I like music and all, but it's one extreme or the other. Oh well. I'm dreading my Chromatic Harmony class but I guess I have to deal with it and just work my butt off all semester.
I like living in the MC house and I like having my own room, even thought I'm pretty much sharing it with David, but that's more of benefit than anything else.
My parents can be a bit irritating when they call me and want to know everything going on, but I guess it's better than dealing with them at home.
Today in general was an alright day. I woke up at 7:15 and went over to the gym with Linda at 7:30 to go work out. I worked out for a little over a half hour but then had to get to my Spanish class. After Spanish I had to run down to south campus for my Musicianship class. I'm starting to enjoy that class, I like my prof, Neil Wetzel, and the class is small. After that I ran back up to north campus to meet with Ekow about MC club stuff. It was kind of a stressful meeting, in my own way, just because I knew the potential problems ahead but I guess it comes with the title of co-chair. After the meeting a had a few minutes to just sit up in the HUB with friends. Christine came by and chatted for a bit and I sat with the MoCo crew in our usual spot by the TV. Then I had to head back down south for my Chromatic Harmony class. I can only say that I need a major review on what we did in Diatonic Harmony and I'll be ok. I just have to really focus and get back on track, but as of right now, I'm just kind of out there. After that I dealt with my performace class schedule, and I will be the first to perform this year, w00t. Then I had my Western Music to 1750 class. That class is ridiculously boring, I can't stand it. I sit next to Alauna and she just laughs at me because I draw pictures and pay no attention to what's going on. I try, but I just can't. I hate to say it, and as a person I like Dr. Binford, but her classes are so boring. Stupid music requirements...haha.
After my classes I had the rest of the afternoon to relax. I came back up north and took a nap in my room. I tried to do some work and just hung out and watched tv. I was pretty stressed out this afternoon and when I met back up with David, Kyle, Amanda, and Linda, I ended up crying a little just because I was overwhelmed, but being the good friends they are, they made me feel better. We had dinner, then David and I came back to the house to relax. Everyone started coming back to the house and others came to visit. Chrristine called me with boy problems, and I tried to help the best I could, but I can never really tell how people react and adjust to my advice.
Finally my mom showed up with my car, and I drove her back home to drop her off so I could keep the car on campus. Although my family bothers me, it was nice to see them again. I can take them in little doses and they don't bother me, but when they start calling me everyday, that gets irritating. But it was nice to see them for all of about 2 min.
I came back on campus, called Katie M on my way back. It was nice to talk to her and it sounds like she's doing well. I'm happy for her. Then I went to Catacombs, which was nice. There were a lot of people and I enjoyed everyone's company.
Now I'm back here in my room, just relaxing, probably going to sleep soon. So, g'night everyone!
