Sharks patrol these waters
Hmm and so another week of school begins....
I spent most of today working on a cartoon panel assignment that Principal Kohn gave me. He knows a proffessor that is re-writing a textbook and was looking for somebody to update all of the cartoon panels within. Dr. Kohn relayed the assignment to me, and so that is now what I am doing. I get paid a *very* respectable $50 a strip. He has about seven strips for me to do, so that equals up to one happy camper in R town.
Razzberry is back and is playing at the Exxon-sponsored United Way festival on May 15. As of now, Razzberry is playing in the lounge (the only indoor stage) at 3:00, and will play a 45 min. set. The cast as of right now is Ashlee House on vocals, Oliver Brooks on guitar, John Head on drums, and me on bass.
I had quite the fun weekend. On Friday, Lindsey and I saw Kill Bill Volume II. Holy damn, I loved it. After the movie we went back to my house to watch the end of the first movie (which she had missed) and oops! ended up staying there a half-hour longer than she was supposed to. Consequently, she is grounded. It was good fun. On Saturday, I played a show! It was at HHS for Earth Day or something like that. The band consisted of the Head brothers John and Jeff, a guitar player named Bryan, a keyboard player, and myself. We played Aeroplane and Give it Away by RHCP, Pawn Shop and Santeria by Sublime, some Green Day song, and Ain't Nothin but a G Thang by Snoop Dog. It was loads of fun and we played very sharp. We were probably the best band out there (which isn't saying much people). The rest of the bands playing were hardcore "scene" bands that were terrible. Sunday, I took my brother to the mall, then my dad took some pictures of me in my suit. They look nice.
