Hyperness pays off...

Woot! Today's been a good day. I finalized plans with Colleen to head into Chicago tomorrow afternoon for a tour of Chinatown which I've never been to and Chicago fireworks which I've also never seen. It's going to be so much fun! The only downside is that I have a two hour train ride there and another back. I sometimes HATE living in Northern Illinois at the end of the train line. Bah.

Today has also been good because I actually saw a Tom Cruise film that I actually liked! My mom wanted to see War of the Worlds so I had to go with her. You know, family day and what not since my brothers both had the evening off. I sadly admit to having actually jumped in one scene. It's not necessarily because it was scary, but because you KNEW something was going to happen and were waiting in anticipation to the point of startlement. Sad, I know. I also got about 1200 words of Torn Apart Chapter 19 written. I think it's fairly humorous if I do say so myself. Sometimes, it really does pay to wait a little while to write. Heheh...Now I just have to write all about the party and a scene with Shuukaku.

Yesterday was also fantastic because my mom bought me about 100 dollars in clothing. Woot, gotta love sales! I sometimes hate having to pay all my expenses. Sigh...At least I don't have to worry about a security depostit anymore for a new apartment since I got into university housing at Cornell. That was a load off my mind. Especially since my dad kept harping on me about the fact August is getting awfully close. *roll eyes* Now I'll just have to listen to him complain about how I'm going to get all my stuff out of my current apartment in Champaign and to Cornell.

I think I'm gonna go write a short Gundam Wing one-shot now for beat_of_destiny. It'll be my first peice so we'll see. Oh! Another good thing was that last night I got an acceptable version of my strength drabble written. The first was rather blase and not at all in character for Naraku. At least in my opinion.

Enough rambling. Goodnight!
