Gee...sorry for spamming everyone, but I was finally motivated and worked on my 'original fic' for a friend of mine. It's a college fic though, just to warn you all!

Title: A Series of What If's

I love, love, love this. U have no idea how much I do, really! The writing is however, a notch above than the fics that you wrote.. why is that so? hmmm... is it easier to write non-anime fiction?
I love the way you describe their meeting (gosh, getting hit by a ball! right on the head too...), the weather, the school, everything. The flow is there, very smooth, not jerky at all. Very interesting, but not too overwhelming, you know, just enough to keep a reader to "so.... what happens next?"
Congrats Jo! And this fic (so far 2 chapters but,) really looks like novel-like. I've seen a couple of writings whereby the try to publish.. but its no good. This really has potential. I mean it.

I was rather hoping that it wouldn't be novel length. Just little snippets here and there. (It probably will be though. Sigh...) And the quality is better? I was actually thinking it was a little worse, simply because I wrote both chapters spur of the moment (sort of).

And I wouldn't say it's easier to write non-anime fiction. I don't really have a clear idea who these people are yet which makes it a little harder because I don't want to throw something in there that'll contradict an earlier statement (like changing the hair color).

On the other side of the coin, people have such varied viewpoints on who an anime character is, that it's difficult writing them. You want it to be IC but you have to change that character to make them go where you want to go. If you move to fast, it's not believable, if you move to slow, people get angry and shout for a lemon =p There's a lot of peer pressure when it comes to fanfiction.

But you are so going to continue this right? ne ne ne? ;p Even if you wrote them on a spur, I can't tell, at all. Everything just flows, you know. (gah, Im so bad at praising)
I think in fanfiction, characters can't really stay IC because its just hard. We are not the manga-ka and most of the time, we introduce our own story plots, twists and the IC thing just melts away when alt pairings come in! I think, as long as readers feel that the Sesshoumaru has not changed in their opinion (which is very subjective) in yr fic, then he's IC. Haha weird eh?
And yes, pple get angry with me for being too slow and asks for lemons. Well... I ignore them, sort of. Peer pressure sux, sux big time.

Oh yeah. It's getting continued, never fear ^_^ I'm just lazy when it comes to writing it since the first chapter got written at the end of June. Of course, this was also one of the last things I wrote before I hit my writing slump. Meh

Actually, umbrella is a good idea too.. isn't it? they can share that umbrella, or she can walk in the rain alone with his umbrella. In any case, it might be a little too ridiculous for him to whip out his sweatshirt for her, isn't it? Unless guys act differently in yr country.. *sweats*
U know, I so wish that Im the girl in yr fic. Think Im yearning for a man..... sigh.

You know, Melissa said the same thing. Except, she wanted Cal to be real :) What can I say...apprantly I write likeable characters.

And the sweatshirt was going to be one of those zip up kinds with the hoodie so it wouldn't be that terribly awkward to give it to her and they were both supposed to be umbrella-less.

But it all works. That number thing kind of came out of the blue too. But...I already have a plot bunny for that one. Selendra is going to be teased mercilessly by her friends! Muahahaha!!!

Ahem. Anyways, we both need a man. Otherwise, fiction might become all to real for us. Sigh...
