I had this latin teacher in middle school who always used to start his stories with, "When I was a little girl...". He also used to run to the door, jump up and hit the top of the door frame and yell, "It's time for a tasty break!" before he segmented off into one of his childhood stories. He was great, although I can't say I learned a bit of latin.
