Getting budgies in the mood for love?
Hi. We have two budgies, a boy and a girl. They're about a year old. They live in separate cages but they spend a good part of their day out of the cages, frolicking together around the house (under human supervision, of course).
We're ready to add to our flock and so we're hoping that they'll mate. :3 Is there anything we can do that'll encourage them? I've seen those little birdhouses that they sell at the pet store with a place for the female to lay her eggs inside, but frankly I can't see our birds taking an interest in something like that... they hate dark places.
