ZuPreem Pellets
We're looking to convert our birds to ZuPreem's "Natural Diet" pellets, and I've been wondering...is the Medium size too big for English budgies and parrotlets? I see on the site they recommend the Small size, but as we also have a cockatiel and lovebird (recommended size Medium) I was wondering if we could stick to one size, either adjusting them all to Small, or, if possible, sticking with Medium.
If you guys recommend both Small AND Medium, that will work too. But before I do that, I'd like to know if one size is acceptable for all and what will make them happiest. All of them have been checking out the Medium pellets so far even when seed and (gasp) even a treat is present, the parrotlet being rather cute in that she likes to hold them in her foot. For some incredibly lucky reason they seem REALLY interested in the pellets! I just looked over and, after just being provided with some seed, Squeaky (tiel) headed over to the pellet dish :)
Once we get the seed ratio down and the pellets up, we're also going to look into introducing veggies. So if you'd like to recommend a good combo that'd most please budgies, parrotlets, lovebirds, and cockatiels (...an odd bunch, huh) then that would also be a welcome thing for me to put in my memories. I already have some birdy bread recipes saved.
