i just maimed a cinnamon raisin bagel using the handle of a plastic spoon. it's not the smoothest cut in the world, but it works. i actually remembered to get cream cheese this time around, so that i don't have to try to force down a whole bagel with nothing on it, which i've decided is right up there with eating 30 saltine crackers ( Read more... )

it's funny how much we pay for small amounts of liquids.
If you buy a gallon it's like $3, but if you want a 1/8 of that it's $1.19. And we pay. (note: don't do the math on that)
but let me tell you. SIMPLY ORANGE. is the best orange juice you can buy. And it's cheaper than tropicana. Tropicana is scared, they changed their packaging to be identical to Simply Orange. That's a good sign.

also, I miss travels with charley.

yes i have just resently baught the contry of origan-usa and brizil orange juice in balk at costco. (same as sams club down there)it is needless to say not the best orange juice i have ever had. i have to agree with aaron in that simply orange is the bom of all orange juices. but still does not tast like freash squeezed orange juice from mexico or calli.
with that said i find it amazing too that u can blame ur spelling on ur knoledge of a totaly differnt language and the fact that it happens to be french! how awesome is that? and the fact i spelled amost every word wrong in that sentence makes me feal very inferior to u.

the red and orange amazed me. you_waited October 13 2004, 14:10:14 UTC
there are two trees by my house that are a beautiful orange and red. in the morning when the sun is on them, there is a tent of red and orange underneath. i'm amazed by that... especially this year.

i get so involved in steinbeck's stories because his descriptions are so vivid. i just finised the grapes of wrath, which i had never read until now because i foolishly put off reading such a long work thinking that it would take so long to read that i would miss out on so many other books i could be reading (how ridiculous!), and i fell completely in love with it. the vivid descriptions of the land, the people, hunger, pride, desperation... it was so good.

also, i do think this is the prettiest autumn in years.
