My Whopper Jr. Got Cold
You know how people will resort to hyperbole and say things like "I can't eat or sleep, all I do is think of you"? Trite to be sure, but I have an actual happenstance of said phenomenon tonight.
Subsisting on mostly coffee all day is, contrary to popular belief, not actually all that good for you. I guess doctors are recommending we all start eating food as well or some such nonsense. Anyway, I snagged a whopper jr with bacon and cheese, hold the mayo and onions please, on my way home. I was very intent on nomming down this burger, but I checked lj before ever opening the bag.
Barb, when I saw your comment, and then beyond that saw that you had posted today, well I just got all caught up in you. ;) Now almost two hours later I remembered my sad neglected lil' whopper jr. Let me state for the record, although completely edible, cold burgers are definitely not the same. That's okay, you're more than worth the cold burger. In fact, if I had to, I'd eat cold burgers for the rest of my life if it meant getting to spend time with you.
I'm just saying.
