PEETA. ♥ ♥ ♥ He hooked me from the moment Katniss recalled the 'boy with the bread' and never let me go. To the point that I was nearly shouting at some of the Katniss/Gale moments in CF "NO NO, WRONG ONE, DAMMIT!"
We don't see him like, at ALL, in HG or CF. He's there briefly and you like him because Katniss likes him, but. You don't really see their relationship, you know?
Then you figure out that for all Katniss is a badass warrior, she's also an idiot. When she's not thinking about it, when she's not paying attention, she adores Peeta. She loves him, but she is so determined to NOT feel anything romantic for anyone. And when she twigs that she loves her boy with the bread, she thinks it must be wrong, because if she was going to love anyone, it would surely be Gale, right?
Oh, Katniss. I want to hug you and shake you, at the same time.

Their dancing around the doctor's office? Fucking hilarious. Like they'd choreographed the damn thing.
I wonder if they'll explore this further? You know what else I wish they would explore further? Ted seeing Barney clean up those rose petals. Like - is that ever going to be acknowledged or are we supposed to forget it happened? Because I want fall-out! *g

Well, they did jokingly suggest Robin had slept with Barney the night she started acting weird. Barney's reaction was clear but of course they sitcommed it. That would have been a good opportunity for the lightbulb to appear over Ted's head about the rose petals... I feel like it will come back, but maybe not for a while. I hope they make it important later. Honestly I was hoping someone would put the clues together and suspect something

Maybe it'll be Ted. He saw Barney with the rose petals. He saw the extent of how upset Robin was. Plus, voiceover Ted did have that line earlier this season about the three of them not being healthy and they just hadn't realized it yet

I'm glad they resolved that HIMYM situation in one of the rather few ways that I would find satisfactory. I didn't really think she would be actually pregnant, but the beginning had me nervous.
I feel that there is ample time for Barney/Robin to become a for-real-thing and it didn't need to happen this episode (although I am less invested in the two of them than you are, hah).
I was totally satisfied with the way they resolved it. The two of them dancing around the doctor's office is a thing of beauty and joy forever. Because there is no relief like a 'you're not pregnant' relief. And his expression when she said that always being on time was a point of pride was PRICELESS.
Nothing about Barney and Robin in this ep made me nervous, it's stupid Craig Thomas going around calling Barney and Robin the third rail. Like. Seriously?
Also, I think I can count on one hand the times I have shipped things that were/are/ended up as canon. So.
And, yes. Yes. I am slightly invested in Barney and Robin. Which is SO unlike me. *g*

We will let you off this once. Also, it sounds like you're up on this new invention called the 'internet'. It'll probably be up soon. *g*
I have been laying around on my couch, trying to get up the energy to do things. Like change out of my work clothes. And eat.
This whole working seven days a week thing is for the birds.
