Has anyone gotten/purchased/downloaded the latest Decemberists' album?

I love the Decemberists, but I'm not really much on 'concept' albums.

I can't decide, so I think my flist should tell me what to do.

And while we're speaking about music, 'Long Black Veil' just popped up on my ipod and...

This song PISSES ME OFF. I mean, I love it, but the story. The story!

It's all very sad that she walks these hills in a long black veil and cries over his bones, but - man up, lady. You knew he didn't kill anyone and I'm sorry that you'd have to own up to your affair, but I think your reputation(s) are a little less important than SOMEONE'S LIFE.

Of course, the dude could have said something too.

They were both moronic.

Anyway.

My other complaint for the day? My pants.

I just got them and I love them, but going to the bathroom is killing me. They have this really groovy wide waist with multiple buttons. But they're all actually functioning buttons, which means I have to unbutton five whenever I have to go.

It's not the end of the world, but it's taking me enough time that I'm noticing it.
