I don't know how I got to this (surfing the internets while waiting for a report is a wonderful way to spend 15 minutes) but it is brilliant. I've been interested in this ever since I read
The Girls Who Went Away because all we hear from pro-lifers is 'But you could put the baby up for adoption!' but there's no concern for anyone (the mothers or the children) after that one moment. And, apparently, it's not all sunshine and roses.
Breaking the Silence: On Living Pro-Lifers' Choice for Women.
Written by a woman who had an abortion, and put a child up for adoption. It's quite illuminating.
Also! I just realized I have not had any food since dinner on Monday. I wasn't hungry when I woke up yesterday nor for lunch. Then I planned to eat last night (I got out tuna and everything!), but I ended up going out for 'one drink' which turned into me not getting home until 10:30. Which meant I plopped straight into bed. And I didn't get up in time this morning to grab anything.
Sometimes, I am a BRAIN TRUST.
Seriously.
