It’s rainy today. Poor Beckett, I think his arthritis gets worse during the rainy weather. The weekend was all right. I think the rainy weather probably will be more frequent as the fall goes into winter

I know! They're ripping us off again with only 10 episodes instead of the usual 12. I thought the interactions between Nucky and Margaret was the best part of the episode. I think he respects her more now that she's sassy and wears form fitting red dresses. I do hope for a reunion between them before the end. They are just one of those HBO series couples that you can't help but wanting to be together even though one of them is really bad for the other.

I've kind of had it with the Nucky flashbacks that seem completely stuck with him as a 10 year old bell boy. We could have had plenty of air time for Chalky and or Gillian. There is nothing insightful about the flashbacks. They don't show us anything we didn't already know from 4 seasons of the series (i.e. Nucky's parents were really poor, his father was abusive and Nucky came into contact with working for the Commodore.)

I am enjoying Al Capone very much. He's almost as entertaining a villain as Gyp Rosetti was. I miss Richard Harrow though. He was a very great character.

I hope Beckett is feeling better. It's raining on/off here, too, just with a lot of stupid humidity.
