YES! I FINISHED!!!
Since Thursday afternoon (it’s Friday) I edited (from scratch) all 38 pages of ch. 3b, about 8 pages of ch. 3a, and then redoing 17 pages of the beginning of ch. 3a because I used the wrong scans! WOO
I feel so proud of myself. And I am also proud of my stupid little credits page!
Today I also made two pairs of earrings!
I feel like hugging myself!
Now you need to go get ch. 3a/b of White Waltz! (storminheaven.net)
I like Calmando Qual.
LAST NIGHT I HAD THE MOST SPLENDID DREAM!!
It was crazy!
Jason Humphrey, who’s in my physics class, came up to me and asked me if I wanted what he had. I said sure! I’ll take it!
And so I had a pet baby giraffe.
He was about 8 feet tall.
And had a rope around his neck.
He followed me quietly and was very well behaved, made no noise at all and didn’t pull on the lead at all.
But of course, you can’t very well bring a giraffe to class with you, so I had to figure out what to do with the budgie until school got out.
I went down the science wing, which was remarkably short, to Mr. Farrell’s room. (Which makes no sense, he’s an art teacher…) He was in the middle of a class, but popped into the room next door to help me out.
“I don’t know what to do with the giraffe, I have class now.” I said, or… I paraphrase. You never hear yourself speak in dreams… He said okay, he knew what to do.
So suddenly I was outside, by a lake (or on one that was frozen over but not slippery,) where my baby giraffe and I played in the not-cold-snow for a while. It was great fun and he’d follow me whereever I went. He was so sweet and well-tempered.
In the end, I saw the family pull up in the Sable, and I went over.
“Guess what I got!” I said, and Pap turned and was very “why do you have a giraffe?”. So I said something along the lines of “Jason asked if I wanted it and I said yes!” I was grinning and my cheeks were red (I could feel it!) and Mi’im and Gramma and Pap just paused, shrugged, and popped the trunk. Then my dream ended. I wonder how he fit in there…
Hmm…
I woke up and was thinking about where we would keep him without really waking up… I was thinking he could go to the zoo in Washington D.C., for that is a very lovely zoo. And he could play with elephants all day! But then I’d have to move to D.C. because I would have to visit him every day.
Because, as we know, I love my baby giraffe.
