Grocery Surprise!
Hyde Park Produce had a little surprise for me yesterday. And now I have four quinces to play with! It turns out that both of my quince compote recipes call for only two quinces each . . . perhaps I shall make them both to compare.
I'll have to check my Spice Cabinet Of Doom to see if I have any whole cloves (I probably do, but, as anyone who has ever actually seen the Spice Cabinet Of Doom can attest, it is utterly impossible to know what might be lurking back in the darker corners of the clutter), and I know I'll need to do a grocery run for more lemons, but yeah. Quinces! Yay!
