new zines
Hi, here's a list of all of the zines I've added to the catalog since July 14th. Keep in mind that if you're real interested in keeping up with catalog additions and the like, you should probably join my e-mailing list (there's a form on my website) as I'm planning to do more with the newsletter than with the LiveJournal posts.
THE CONSTANT RIDER OMNIBUS - public transportation stories!
MAKE SOMETHING! - an anthology of work from Portland, OR-based zinesters.
COFFEESHOP CRUSHES - "love and lust in coffee establishments." A real classic zine for only a buck.
INVINCIBLE SUMMER ANTHOLOGY - a book of Nicole's terrific zine Invincible Summer. Lots of good stories, illustrations and the like.
LOLLYPOP SHOVED UP MY ASS #3 - a cut-and-paste Canadian zine.
CROQ #1 - a DIY guide and print forum for creative people of all kinds.
A MILLION BIRTHDAYS #6 - a well-written, introspective issue of Kathee's solid zine.
KING-CAT COMICS & STORIES #64 - the latest issue of this long-running comic zine that includes stories and artwork that focuses on the sudden death of author John's father.
PAPING #9 - recently restocked in the Parcell Press catalog! This great comic zine is 100% two-color screenprinted on every page and follows the story of the author's lost bike and his elementary school students' attempts to help him find it.
PAPING #10 - an indie artists' compilation, this includes comics and stories that all deal with the artists' fathers. A great collection.
PAPING #11 - the newest issue of Paping, the theme is "us and them," and is another indie artists' compilation, including work from ten artists.
What a terrific bunch of zines.
