...
doesn't even rhyme. I got home at a reasonable time last night after a very reasonable single pint of ale and a nice big meal and unreasonably I failed to get to sleep until the wee hours of the morning.
When I did finally get to sleep I dreamed I was having trouble sleeping so went for a late night walk. When I got back (to a house that wasn't actually mine - but in the dream was) I found my key wouldn't fit the lock as the lock was now a super high-tech infra-red one, and my key was the old metal type. My mum let me in (which is strange because she doesn't actually live with me... but seemed perfectly normal in my dream) and I wandered upstairs to fine my wife in my bed (which is strange as she hasn't been there for a long time now and yet that seemed perfectly normal in my dream as well) and I woke up just as we snuggled up together confused and just a little sad.
I am reminded of the counting crows lyric
"So there isn't any sweetness in the dreaming"
Talking of the counting crows... the gig in Hyde Park was amazing. There will be an update about this and other stuff coming soon™
