Yes, there's going to be 23 chapters for this series... We're near the end...

I'm posting a prologue for a new het series called "The women of our lives" tomorrow. Feel free to check it out if you'd like, but if you prefer slash, it's ok. I'll keep writing Charlie/Colby... there're lots of ideas here inside my head.

I could so feel colby's pain I was about to cry when he was crying.
I hope charlie tells him that no one can stand between them now and reassure him cant wait for more

I never thought Colby like person who can cry... But love do strange things with us.
It was really sweet moments - sadness, hope, crying, pain, happiness...
Like I said before - I hope Colby will quiet Charlie and Charlie don't do some dramatic and foolishly.

Yes, love does strange things to us, I agree. The thing is that after seeing this last season's episodes, I thought that Colby was a more emotional person than the one he shows to the world.
I'm glad that you enjoyed the little moments of this fic, and I want you to know that the next chapter tells us what happened when Charlie got to Colby's apartment. :)

Poor Colby. Charlie has him all tied up in tight little knots. And the Don's discovery of them won't help any. But I think the fact that Charlie still showed up holds some hope for them. He could have just called back and canceled, but he didn't. Crosses fingers that they'll work this through.

P.S. When I get a chance, I'll go back and read Mia's stories. I've been swamped with work lately. And my daughters will be off school for the summer in two weeks, so it's not going to get any better. It's what keeps all those stories I'd like to write just stuck in my head.

Colby is just broken. I think that he's a very emotional person, and as he accepts what he feels for Charlie, then it would be very difficult for him knowing that Charlie has so many doubts about his own feelings.
Yes, Charlie could have canceled his reunion with Colby after what Don said to him, but he didn't. We'll see what he has to say in the next chapter.
About Mia's stories, I'll let her know that you'll read them when you have the time. Don't worry about anything and I hope that everything works well for you...

Oh Colby..this was so sweet. Loved that he broke down and cried over Charlie, but even more adorable was his reaction to Charlie's call. I hope his restored happiness isn't ruined by Charlies news?
Im crossing my fingers that the two of them are going to face things together? Teary Charlie needs some Colby snuggles to cheer him up.
Look forward to more.

I'm so glad that you liked this chapter. I have a thing for Colby when he cries. He's just so beautiful.
Next chapter will be definition time, so you'll get to know what Charlie has to say, and how Colby reacts to that. Just remember that they're both broken, Charlie with Don's words inside his head (just when he had decided that he wanted to be with Colby...!) and Colby about to scream because of how much Charlie confuses him all the time. :)
