That's actually not a bad idea

2007 was the year that I finally got everything that I wanted...I hope that doesn't make me sound like a spoiled brat.

I finally got into my dream school, I had the perfect summer at home, I formed a circle of friends that became my family (my UVM loves), and it was all around a great year...pretty awesome for 19. Now I have the issue of  deciding what my new years resolution should be so this  year doesn't tragically fall short of any expectations. I mean sure there's the average "I need to loose 10 lbs" resolution that always get achieved but backfires by the end of the year. I was thinking about maybe trying to be more eco-friendly but I already am pretty good about my 3 Rs (except when it comes to shortening my showers...I'll work on it I swear!)

Lucky for me, I have smart friends who help me out with these decisions. My lovely friend Taz helped me out. He sent me a message that I should write down one thing that made me smile each day for the entire year. It's kind of cliche but I really love that idea. That way no matter how bad my day was, or how bad I think my year was...I'll always know that there was something that made me happy...plus they'll be documented in this journal.  So here it goes:

The first thing that made me smile this year was that I actually went to a new years party last night! I mean there are a few more awesome details that go along with that...but they're going in a private entry. Happy 2008! =)
