Summary: It’s the day after they first made whatever they have “official”, and it makes a certain blond extra clingy to his new boyfriend.

The pitter - patter of rain wakes him up from his deep slumber. The soft knocking of raindrops creates a melodic symphony against the glass windows of the grey-walled bedroom.
Tao blinks away the sleep from his eyes as he adjusts to the dimmed surroundings. The clouds outside are dark as he noticed through a small opening between the curtains of the glass doors going to the balcony overlooking the city. He smiles at the new environment - he realizes that he didn't notice a thing when he made his way to this bedroom.
Tao chuckles silently to himself at the memory of how he ended up in the queen-sized bed covered in thick white blankets with a warm arm settled on his waist. The young blond slowly turns around to still find his boyfriend fast asleep.
'Boyfriend...' He thinks, is a nice thought. They've been dating for months, 94 days today to be exact and it's only yesterday that they've made it official, and what a celebration it was. He giggles at the thought of last night and it stirs Kris awake. The brunet rubs the sleep off his eyes and smiles when he finds Tao staring at him with a huge grin on his face.
"Hi."
"Hi." Tao greets him enthusiastically then plants a quick kiss on his lips, "Hi."
Kris just stares and the intensity of it is making Tao blush ten-folds, "Why are you staring at me...?"
The brunet just smiles and reaches a hand to brush lightly against Tao's cheek, "You're most beautiful in the morning." Kris speaks in his raspy bedroom voice.
"Oh, you." Tao playfully hits Kris' chest and it dawns on the both of them that they're still naked. The younger male retracts his hand and shyly bites his lower lip, "Uh... Y-you have a nice bedroom... Didn't notice it last night."
Kris chuckles and scoots closer to Tao, "What did you see last night?" He asks with a mischievous grin and Tao thinks it is only just to reply with the same kind of attitude, his eyelashes flutter as he sets his head more comfortably against the pillow then sighs before answering, "Only you." Tao smiles and adds, "All of you."
"You're so adorable." Kris pinches Tao's nose, the younger scrunches his face in mock pain which only makes Kris squeal in silence, he clears his throat before asking, "Breakfast?"
"Yes, please." Tao nods. Kris kisses the tip of his boyfriend's nose before the brunet jumps out of bed. Tao immediately covers his face with the blanket since Kris is butt-naked as he walks around the room to look for his boxers that's been thrown to the floor last night. Tao hears Kris chuckle, the former counts 10 seconds in his head before taking the blanket away from his face, and when his head pops out, Kris is staring at him with hands akimbo.
"Sorry. Still getting used to this naked in the morning thingy..." Tao apologizes and Kris laughs, "Well, get used to it, my little sunshine, this isn’t going to be the first time." The brunet tells him and then walks to the bed to pull on Tao, "Let's go. I'm hungry."
"Okay." Tao smiles and wraps the huge blanket around him - he'll put his clothes on later. Kris leans over to kiss him on the cheek before dragging him out to the kitchen.
Tao finally takes in Kris' bachelor pad as he walks behind his boyfriend, all the while dragging the ends of the blanket on the floor like a gown train. There's a large bookshelf on one side of the wall and beside it there's a study desk where Kris' MacBook Air is on. There's a couch in the middle of the room and a huge HD TV in front of it. In another corner there's a treadmill and some dumbbells on the floor, Tao blushes. No wonder Kris is toned.
"Earth to Tao...?"
"Uh, huh?" Tao turns to his left and realizes he's stopped walking and Kris is leaning against a doorframe that separates his living room to the dining and kitchen area, "Sorry... I spaced out. What?"
"I'm asking if you want your eggs scrambled or sunny side up."
Tao grins, "You know it's sunny side up."
"Come on." Kris extends a hand and Tao takes it. Kris tells him to sit on one of the dining chairs and the older male starts to prepare their breakfast. Tao doesn't settle on his chair so he walks over to where Kris is busy cooking and hugs the older from behind. He presses his cheek against the taller male’s toned back and Kris hums in content. "You're particularly cute today, little sunshine..."
"Hmmmn..." Tao kisses Kris' bare back and hugs him tighter, "I like this. Don't you?"
"More than anything." Kris responds and keeps on cooking as he lets Tao leave feather kisses on his back. "Little sunshine...?"
"Hmn?"
"What do you wanna do today?"
"It's a Sunday... Can I laze around here for a while?"
Kris brings one of Tao's hands to his lips and kisses it tenderly, "Of course."
Tao releases from Kris and lets his boyfriend prepare their breakfast on a huge plate and places it on a tray while he stand a foot next to him. Kris takes the tray and turns to Tao, "Mind getting the carton of orange juice in the fridge?" Kris asks and Tao walks to the fridge to get the said beverage, "Where are we eating?"
"Bedroom. I'd love to have breakfast with you in the balcony but the drizzle kinda spoiled that plan."
"It's okay, muffin." Tao smiles and kisses Kris' cheek before walking behind him and walks back inside the bedroom again. The brunet settles on the bed and Tao happily joins him. "Hey, just like how we first met, right?" Tao comments with a smile and Kris chuckles, "I don't remember meeting you on a bed. I mean - OW!" Kris hisses in pain as he nurses his bare chest hit by Tao. "I kid, little sunshine. Of course I remember. The waiter mixed our orders from Minseok's cafe, same exact food, except for the egg."
"Yeah..." He opens his mouth when Kris feeds him a strip of bacon; he's still chewing quietly when Kris leans over to steal a quick kiss. Tao scowls playfully then swallows his food before leaning closer to kiss him properly. "This is nice." The younger tells Kris and they continue eating their breakfast while stealing kisses in between bites.
Kris takes the tray and places it on the floor; he turns to face Tao who's just watching him intently, "What do you want to do?"
"Shower? I feel so sticky..." Tao rubs on his bare arms and Kris laughs, "Alright. Bathroom is just down the hall." The older jumps off the bed and walks to his dresser to take out an oversized white shirt and a pair of boxers, he walks back to Tao and hands the said clothes to the younger. "Use whatever you'll need in the shower. There are fresh towels in the cabinet, too."
"Alright." Tao leans in and gives Kris a brief kiss before dragging himself out of the bed. Kris smirks and grabs on the blanket still wrapped around the younger and it makes Tao scream his way fast to the bathroom, naked.
"Just so you know, I hate you." Tao tells Kris 30 minutes later when he returns to the bedroom. Kris raises an eyebrow at him without moving from his lying position on the bed, "Really?"
"Not really." Tao grins wide and marches his way on the bed and straddles Kris, "Your turn."
"But I got you where I want you." Kris whispers and it makes Tao blush, "No, you shower too."
"Kiss me first, my little sunshine." The older asks and Tao is only glad to comply. After giving him a rather shy but lingering kiss, Tao gets off from Kris and settles on the bed. The brunet takes some clothes from his dresser and then walks out of the bedroom to take his shower.
When Kris returns to the bedroom an hour later with only his sweatpants on, he finds Tao fast asleep and curled up on the bed. He smiles and toes his way to where his boyfriend lies and settles himself next to the younger. As if on instinct, Tao moves closer to the warmth and wraps his arm around Kris' bare torso.
"Come here..." Kris mumbles and pulls Tao lightly so that his boyfriend can settle on his chest, the younger grunts but stays asleep, Kris wraps his arms on Tao's waist before kissing the top of the younger's head.
"You're waking me up..." Tao complains and sits up, straddling Kris again. "Hi, little sunshine." The older greets him and Tao pouts. "I never really get why you've been calling me that since 3 weeks ago..."
"Don't you remember?" Kris starts as he runs his fingers on Tao's bedhead of a hair, he makes sure that all of the younger's hair is sticking up, "You looked like the sun when I came to pick you up in your office when you were sick. You were sleeping on your desk and Jongin had to call me up."
Tao giggles sleepily, "Idiot." Kris chuckles and sits up. He uses his elbows as leverage so he can be face to face with his boyfriend, "And you? Why muffin?"
"You were eating muffin when I realized I wanted to be more than just your friend."
Kris raises an eyebrow, "Huh. But you only called me that when I started calling you my ‘little sunshine'."
Tao bites his lower lip and shyly looks at Kris while rubbing an imaginary itch on the back of his neck, "Well... I wasn't sure if you're okay with petnames..."
"I'm okay with anything if it's you."
"You're so sweet." Tao stretches his hands over his head and lays his head back on Kris' chest, "Muffin...?"
"What is it?"
"What do you usually do when you're home? Do you always get the weekends off?" Tao asks timidly as he draws circles on the older male's chest, Kris hums and responds, "Yeah. I'm usually just home, that's before I met you, of course. I love reading books or working out."
"That's nice..." Tao purrs and curls closer into Kris' warmth, "I love this. This is nice."
"Hey, I have a question."
"Hmn?"
"Are you... Sore?" Kris asks a little hesitantly and Tao tilts his head up to the sudden question, "I mean, I didn't exactly go easy on you last night...?"
"Oh my god. Why are you...?" Tao hides the blush on his face with his palms, "ofjdkeocujfkrseifmssrrrr..."
"Excuse me, what?"
Tao removes his palms and looks at Kris with his lower lip caught on his teeth. He nods shyly, "I said... Of course I'm sore."
"Sucks."
"What do you mean?"
"Well..." Kris starts and snakes his hands underneath Tao's shirt and the younger takes a sharp intake of air when the older's fingers brush against his sides with feather-light touches, "You don't realize how sexy you are today... Wearing my clothes, being extra clingy and adorable; it makes me want to have a repeat performance of last night."
"Kris!!!"
"And because I care about you, I will not force you. I will never." Kris retracts his hands from underneath Tao's shirt and settles them on the back of the younger's waist. Tao pushes himself up so that his elbows lock Kris between them. He grins mischievously at the older and chuckles, "We can make out."
"See? Sexy." Kris returns the grin before pulling Tao closer by the back of his head and connects their lips together. It doesn't take too long before the both of them are a moaning mess and Tao can feel himself losing as much air as Kris probably does, too. He pulls himself away from the kiss and removes himself from his position on top of Kris, he lies comfortably on the bed and whispers, "Cuddle with me?"
"Yes, of course." Kris smiles at him and this time it's the older who settles his head on Tao's chest and wraps an arm around the younger's waist. Tao runs his fingers on Kris’ hair and asks, "What should we do for the rest of the day, muffin?"
"First, lunch. And second, movie?"
"I'd love that. Are you cooking again?"
Kris looks up with an inquisitive look on his face and a little pout, "Will you love me less if we order pizza instead?"
"Of course not, silly." Tao giggles and Kris kisses the younger's neck before lazily reaching for his phone on the bedside table to order their lunch.

Four hours, 2 boxes of pizza, and two movies later, Tao changes back to his clothes he was wearing last night and Kris is walking him to his front door. Tao leans against the wall and Kris kisses him senseless before opening the door. The older has thankfully put on a shirt and walks Tao out to get him a taxi, "I'll pick you up at work, okay?" Kris asks and Tao nods before boarding the car.
Kris cleans up the apartment; he makes sure to change the covers of his bed even if he didn't want to remove Tao's scent from the material. He takes another shower and eats his dinner but in the middle of it, there's a knock on the door. He checks his watch on the wall and it says 8:54pm, he isn't really expecting anyone to come by on a Sunday night.
He walks to the door and smiles at the sight of Tao in his pyjamas clutching a stuffed teddy bear and slinging a backpack on his shoulder. "I couldn't sleep..." Tao tells him, he clutches the teddy bear tighter to his chest, "Can I sleepover? We can leave for work tomorrow morning together..."
"Of course, my little sunshine. Come in." Kris pulls Tao inside and locks the door behind him, "Have you eaten dinner?" He asks and Tao nods, "You can wait for me in the bedroom. I'll just finish my food."
"Okay." Tao puts his backpack on the couch and runs his way to the bedroom. Kris finishes his dinner quickly and brushes his teeth before going after his younger boyfriend. He smiles at the sight of Tao curled up snugly under the covers and eagerly waiting for him. Kris sighs and walks his way to the bed to crawl under the blankets as well, "Did you take the bus looking so adorable like this?"
"Nope. I drove. I just... I wanted to see you, and sleep next to you."
"Then, let's go to sleep, shall we?"
"Yes, please." Tao smiles and kisses Kris before hugging him tight, "I love you."
Kris smiles and kisses the top of Tao's head. "Goodnight, my little sunshine. I love you, too."
The older can feel Tao's sigh of content before the younger's breathing softly evens out. Not before long, Tao is already sleeping soundly wound up in Kris' form. The older brings up Tao's hand to his lips and kisses it lovingly.
He smiles.
Kris knows they've only both started to make what they have official, but he knows Tao belongs in his apartment, in his bedroom, on his bed, and most especially in his heart. One day, someday soon, Kris knows, Tao wouldn't have to leave, he'd stay, everyday, and every waking mornings right next to him.

"Of course, my little sunshine. Come in." Kris pulls Tao inside and locks the door behind him, "Have you eaten dinner?" He asks and Tao nods, "You can wait for me in the bedroom. I'll just finish my food."
"Okay." Tao puts his backpack on the couch and runs his way to the bedroom. Kris finishes his dinner quickly and brushes his teeth before going after his younger boyfriend. He smiles at the sight of Tao curled up snugly under the covers and eagerly waiting for him. Kris sighs and walks his way to the bed to crawl under the blankets as well, "Did you take the bus looking so adorable like this?"
"Nope. I drove. I just... I wanted to see you, and sleep next to you."
"Then, let's go to sleep, shall we?"
"Yes, please." Tao smiles and kisses Kris before hugging him tight, "I love you."
Kris smiles and kisses the top of Tao's head. "Goodnight, my little sunshine. I love you, too."
The older can feel Tao's sigh of content before the younger's breathing softly evens out. Not before long, Tao is already sleeping soundly wound up in Kris' form. The older brings up Tao's hand to his lips and kisses it lovingly.
He smiles.
Kris knows they've only both started to make what they have official, but he knows Tao belongs in his apartment, in his bedroom, on his bed, and most especially in his heart. One day, someday soon, Kris knows, Tao wouldn't have to leave, he'd stay, everyday, and every waking mornings right next to him.
