This Life Hasn't Turned Out Quite The Way I Want It To Be;

Well, I just got the best news ever. I'm getting Connor-tonight. Just because he's so rare, and going for up to £20 on eBay. I think I may have actually screamed when the parents told me that! :D
(Infact, I just ordered it. By the way, Character Online are bastards and they have run out/are not supplying any Connor's until April. Fuck them up the arseholes, I was really depressed. But I love that Who... universe... site thing. He was over £18 + P&P, but he is SO worth it <3)

Watched Lewis last night (taped from Sunday) and I thought it was great. Not as authentic and sinister as Morse, but still in a whole world of its' own. Anyway, speaking of Lewis, I decided on doing some new review techniques, tell me if you like this one;

Title: Lewis
Air date: 24/02/08
Genre: Crime/Drama
Programme Aired: ITV
Regular Cast: DI Robert Lewis- Whately
                          DS James Hathaway- Laurence Fox
                          Ch Supt Innocent- Rebecca Front
                          Dr Laura Hobson- Clare Holman

Summary: When a maintenance engineer is found dead in the basement of the Bodleian library, Lewis and Hathaway investigate a link between the murder and an intruder at a local professor's home earlier in the night. Suspicion grows when they visit the engineer's house and discover rare nineteenth-century books, which were taken from the library in which he worked.

Thoughts: Well, I quite liked this episode; I thought it was powerful, and just awesome all 'round. I thought Philip, the Autistic guy, was ever so sweet, and such a good artist. I might aspire to paint like him one day- hopefully. I liked the way that they used him to work out who killed what person (well, the same person did both crimes, but that doesn't count!). I'm beginning to like James, he's a lot less annoying this series. I didn't like him from what little I saw of the episodes last series, but I think he's grown up a little;

"Do you play poker?"
"No. I play chess."

I thought that Nell character, or whatever her name was, was quite annoying- I'm kind of glad she died. She bossed poor Philip around like anybody's business, and lied to him. She wasn't the angel everyone thought she was. Plus, everyone that lived in that house with her were so horrible to Philip, I mean- it's not his fault he can't express any emotion and likes to perfect his art. He's not that weird- for fucks sake, it's people like this that make me want to give up on life. Morons.

Although, I think that there was something going on between the other girl, and the bloke that wasn't Philip or... that... other one- the one that they nabbed from the church... him. By the end of it, Shelly was getting on my nerves aswell- she was getting everywhere. I was expecting the English teacher to be killed and:

"And the moonbeams kiss the sea..."

to be written in his blood. Oh well, shame really...
