I don't think I made any New Years resolutions. I'm sure if I did that I didn't keep them! My resolution for 2011 is to actually go to Korean lessons.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
No.
5. What countries did you visit?
China, Korea, Hong Kong, Spain (Gran Canaria), Hungary, Croatia, Slovakia.
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
The ability to speak Korean.
7. What date from 2010 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
13 May - passed CELTA
4 July - started working for ELAC
7 October - flew back to Korea for 2nd year
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
CELTA Pass Grade B
9. What was your biggest failure?
Being unemployed for 3 months.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing more than a few colds (all since I've been back in Korea!)
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My CELTA course, train ticket from Budapest to Split!
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Marcus - for an unintentional catchphrase which will live on for many years! ELAC teachers for the "Things we know about Tom" board, Rich for inventing slide-surfing on ashtrays!
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Dara - for thinking a teachers' room is an appropriate place to turn the air blue.
14. Where did most of your money go?
CELTA, travelling.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Returning to the UK from Korea, doing my CELTA course, going to Croatia.

iii. richer or poorer? poorer, but hopefully that will be remedied by this time next year.

Seen my friends in Wales more when I was there.

In Korea, getting drunk and teary and wishing I'd forked out £700 for a plane ticket to the UK!

My new little brother Rich. Everyone on the CELTA course. Except maybe Tristan!
