Who: Adachi (
egotic) and Dojima (
wayment).
What: Dojima goes to visit Adachi and discuss... well, everything.
Where: The prison nearest Yasoinaba.
When: Backdated to Adachi's birthday, 2nd of Feb. D:
[ If anything was a step up from his nephew talking about people disappearing into TVs, this was. But man, this was one hell of a step up; it took him twice as long to get to the prison from all the people pulled over, gawking at the mountain, and he couldn't really blame them; all that fog, the murders, and now this? His quiet little town was getting put on the map for all the wrong reasons.
It had seemed that no matter how far he drove out of Inaba, that mountain didn't move, didn't ever go out of sight. It was there looming in his rear-view mirror as he drove, all the way to the large, imposing building with its rows of barred windows. Inaba's nearest prison facility.
He tucked his gun behind his jacket, went to lock the car up and stopped. And wondered what the hell he was doing, and what he was planning to do in there. It was a lot to expect Adachi to know more than anyone else; he was probably investing far too much in his intuition, investing too much in a lot of those untied ends he'd always hoped for answers to when Adachi's case had ended.
He left the car unlocked and went in. It was all arranged already; they'd have Adachi out of his cell by now, sitting in a room with a guard at the door. It'd taken a couple of lies and favours for the opportunity to question him without a partner, but it was done; Dojima was reliable, had always been reliable, and there was no way he would do anything drastic.
He was led into the room, and it was shut, locked behind him. And he looked to the table stretching out in front of him, to Adachi at the other side.
It was the first time he'd seen him since he'd been sentenced.
He found suddenly that he couldn't think of what to say, how to begin. That he couldn't stop looking at him, regardless.]
