When: Day 54; Time of day not specified - Afternoon?
Location: Mt Nibel - Closed down Mako Reactor
Rating: PG (for now, will edit if necessary - let me know!)
Summary: Time to move this along a little. Having only discovered degraded Mako and whispers of past experiments at the ShinRa Manor, it was time to look a little further afield. The old reactor that sat in the side of the Mountain had plagued a constant pest at Sephiroth's mind since he got here, mothers-blessed intuition perhaps?
/silent alarm triggered on the heavily locked double doors of the Mt Nibel reactor from the first singing impact of Masamune on the plated exterior
Scrape-chink, scrape-chink
Sparks flew from the impact of Masamune again being struck hard against polished metal doors which were closed and not meant to be opened again. The blade drew deep rivets in the door but even this weapon could not cut them open. A fist with the force of ancient power connected next and left a dent of a reasonable size. Sephiroth was not about to break anything attempting to force entry however; not with others within range who would do that for him should he require it of them. Between the three of them they would force these doors open, lay bare once more the truths discovered in the past.
Once more Sephiroth's thoughts returned to those memories; it seemed to be that this town was both the symptom and cause of changes indeed. He had arrived here ShinRa's blind puppy, and left to grow into greater things; with the knowledge and truth he had been denied. Years ago but even the breeze which whisked it's way through his long silver locks tormented him, baited him, a challenge which again cried out to be beaten. He found himself turning back to look down the mountain, to pick out the pale tiled roofs - the water tower - the Manor. All the things he had destroyed before restored in quite frankly the biggest cover-up ShinRa had ever pulled; and Sephiroth had been around for his fair share of cover-ups. In itself now mocked him, as he pounded on the door to the important place.
Was it fate that had brought him back here? Mother had led them all here that had to be a certainty, who else could have chosen a more perfect place for their reunion. Sephiroth could show the Remnants everything, where he had finally laid first glance on Jenova..
But sightseeing was not on the agenda. If this reactor still held within it's bowels the preserved monsters Sephiroth recalled; then there was Mako still contained if not used in this reactor. It made sense, to douse a Remnant in a similar if not higher concentration of Mako than he himself would once before be subjected to. No risk of Mako poisoning here what with Mother's all-powerful cells between them. He turned back to the defiant metal doors and took a soothing deep breath, reaching out within himself and following invisible threads to the Remnant who was in the lead in following him up the mountainside. Yazoo
We'll need to gain entry first, I'm waiting He informed the Remnant, not making any effort at all to hide the communique from the other brother.
