Sephiroth was sat cross-legged on the floor a few feet in front of the door to the room that Kira had entered, mostly obscured by the dusty shadows which looked like they had not been disturbed in the best part of a day. Leather-clad hands gripped tighter around a small item gathered in his lap as indeed in his state of half-meditation senses were sharp enough to have detected a pin drop. For the moment he stayed deathly still, controlled willpower over a racing heartbeat as hot as the urge to turn and cause whomever it was to go away. Deep breaths to chase the adrenaline back into it's cage. There was no reason for him to be startled, whoever it was had intruded upon him.
Why don't they just leave alone...Days had passed since Sephiroth's silence had been disturbed by one Mr. Tuesti and it had been again in this ( ... )

Adrenaline was pumping through Kira's blood as she spotted Sephiroth, sitting in the single source of light in the room. Silver hair over black leather, shining at her... Sephiroth hadn't moved, and the surroundings indicated that he hadn't moved for a while. He had to be aware of her presence, but there was nothing to indicate that.
Despite the frantic beating of her heart, the adrenaline rush making her limbs light, preparing her for battle, she remained as still as him. The world seemed frozen in that one moment. One perfect moment of sunlight and waiting, body almost ready to fly...
"Sephiroth," she finally called softly.

Sephiroth's voice, like her own before, did nothing to break the moment of before. His voice was faint, unused...combined with the dust all around and how still he was sitting, she wondered just how long he had been there, sitting in this dead place...
She leaned casually against the wall, weapons still ready in her hands.
"I doubt you'll remember, but my name is Kira. Kira Ashikira. Former SOLDIER First Class."

Brilliant eyes had been shut all of this time but now they opened slowly as the meditative trance wore closer to full consciousness. Former SOLDIER Sephiroth wondered if there were ever truly such a thing. One had either been a SOLDIER or not, there was no way to reverse the Mako effect. First class had been his rank, had been his life and for some reason during all of that he had been deemed a hero.
"So are you a Hero too? Come to save the Planet for ShinRa?" Sephiroth almost baited Kira with that question.

Then he spoke again, more than just her name, and she stared off into space as she thought. A hero...? Me?
"Even if I was still working for Shinra, I'm not exactly hero material," she said with a wry smile. "I'm just cannon fodder. And here on request from someone."

It intrigued Sephiroth exactly why she would be sent 'on request' here, he only knew of one person who knew that he'd even been here. But that thought in itself caused more paranoia. Could it be possible that this building was bugged in a way he wasn't used to detecting? Some sort of complicated plan to track his movements? The end of which Sephiroth did not even wish to consider.
"The commissioner sent you." Was stated matter-of-factly but otherwise Sephiroth remained still. "What did he say?"

A random thought - am I actually having a conversation with Sephiroth? - made her lips quirk slightly into a smile before the man spoke again. No need to mention Jenova; if his movements had been more erratic than normal in looking for her, mentioning her might set him off.
"Only that you'd been hanging around. You do have a tendency to scare people, you know."

Briefly, she wondered where Cloud and his group were, and if they knew of him hanging around. Then the sound of tearing cloth hit her ears, and she frowned briefly, until she caught sight of the torn Moogle doll in his hands. "She went away again, she was taken away..."
Like a small child...As he spoke again, she shifted off the wall she was leaning against, watching him warily. Getting the information back to Reeve had to be her priority, and even the usual SOLDIER bravado had vanished in the face of a potential fight with Sephiroth. She started to back away slowly, weapons still in hand. For a moment, she thought to say something, but nothing came to mind, and she left him silently. The last image she had of the room was of him, ( ... )

He turned towards Kira and as his gleaming green orbs recognized her from their previous fight he advanced towards her in swift strides. Masamune was no where in sight. He stopped a few feet away to take a moment to assess her possible next move, and her condition. Her near-death had clearly not been enough of a stay-away notice but perhaps if she was cannon fodder then she could serve a purpose for him also.
"Tell them to stay away..." Sephiroth warned Kira, before swiftly stepping forward to attempt to grab her and smack her back against the wall of the corridor "Got it?"

Hands free, blades and materia ready...dammit, can't get the rocket launcher right now, but...
She ended that train of thought abruptly, nodding to him. "Understood...anything else you'd like me to pass along?"

"Just don't get in my way. You might not be so lucky next time..."
