For the first time in a while, Theia was full with patrons. Odd, really...you'd think I'd grown a third eye while San was away, Kira thought randomly to herself. The free food probably helps... But with the exception of a few older, gossipy women whose children had once played with Amaya, their old regulars were back, plus a few people from the nearby refugee camp. There was talk and the occasional laugh as they moved around the place, talking with people; the classical music in the background was soft and the door was open to catch the breeze.
"Nice day, isn't it?" she asked San, passing him on the way to look out the door. Before she could hear his reply, however, there was a faint scream from down the street.
Frowning, she stepped out into the street, only to be confronted by the sight of people running at the end of the street. Her mako eye easily caught sight of the cause of the disturbance; a pack of wolf-like monsters, charging down the street after the people.
"San! I need my weapon!" she called, rolling up her sleeves.
