My boss has a hospital appointment tomorrow, so I have the day off. Instead or work, I’ll be doing housework and homework and getting rained on a lot and going to the gym yet again. The guy who does the kettlebells classes is going to do my gym induction at some point - I still get quite bad anxiety in the actual gym itself so I’m hoping that I’ll be more comfortable with someone who’s not a complete stranger. I’m trying to get a lot fitter generally (obsessing over macros and TDEE has to be better than obsessing over how little I can eat, surely?) and I did my first spin class the other day, but while I am doing some cardio, what I really want to do more of is strength training. Hopefully I’ll be making a start on that soon.
Since I’m already doing other stuff, I’ve just started doing MFP again and apparently my macros are horrendously out and I should be eating much more protein than I am just to be meeting the MFP goals (which are pretty low). So I’m going to start doing protein shakes too, once the stuff I ordered arrives. I give way too much of my money to Amazon - if the whole world decided to boycott them I’d probably be able to keep them going single-handedly.
Day one of vegan week has been good - I think I’ll probably carry on eating quite similarly to this once it's over, although there will be the odd exception like yoghurt and things.
