Would you be willing to stay inside and look for the little girl, or would you like to venture outside the walls, where it is more dangerous, to look for the young woman?

Not that it matters, of course, I'm super okay with helping whoever they are. Right...yeah...okay.

Aerith is a young woman, I'm presuming, who is the friend of a woman named Tifa Lockhart. She believes that she has gone outside of the city.

Alja, is the rejse child who is the cause of the flowers falling from the sky. Her mother said that she has the ability to 'shield' herself with the same magic, shielding herself from my ability.

[ A small silence as he tries to put a face to the voice. He hadn't encountered much of the BDW, but Grant knew that base and the inhabitants inside of it like the back of his hand regardless. ] Forgive me for forgetting but...Debra, is it?

[ voice ]

Oh, so the flowers aren't some kind of LSD hippy thing? Wow. I thought they were. So; outside the city is bad, inside is ...less bad?

[This is remembering everything that Abigail told her and figuring a few things out too. It's lots of fun, really.] Oh, that's not problem, yeah it's Debra, or Deb. Or Ratchet, or just Ratch. I don't mind Deb, really.

And you're Metcalf, right? Um...Not plant, but rhymes with...Grant?

[ voice ]

With this place, there is never any real assurance. But yes. To go outside would be severely dangerous in the fact that there are creatures and radiation. The little girl is still inside the city, where is the question.

I appreciate your help, Deb. [ A small smile on his end. ] You're correct; my name is Grant.

[ And he was thankful that she had remembered his real name. Few, even his teammates, would remember anything other than 'Hunt'. It wasn't that Grant didn't like the name. But Hunt was who the military and those who opposed their kind said who he was. Grant, was a person. ]

[hidden, as always, is the real pitch and tone of his voice due to interference with the NOC]

Ohhh-ho, no. The little Rejse girl is all mine, man. We're playing a little game of Hide-and-Seek right now, and it'd be best if you didn't get in the way.

Go play in the radiation or something.

I'm not finding her for sport but for the mere fact that her family has asked for help in doing so.

If you catch her, all the better she's returned.

Sport? No, sports have rules, and I've met this girl - she doesn't play by 'em.

This is a game to her. And for me. Don't worry, though; I'll find her. I've already crossed the entire city about ten times, and I've got plenty of juice for more.

Of course not, she's a child. One who wields magic at that.

All that matters is that she gets found. A friend of mine is looking for her as well so hopefully one of you find her. If not, the group of us searching outside the city will help once we return.

[voice]

I would. [ But he doesn't want you going outside that wall and into the radiation. ]

Jason, Justin, and I are going to search outside the city for Aerith. Deb, Ratchet, is going to stay to look for the little girl. She's already started I think and I'm sure she could use some help.

[ That's the only way he's going to insinuate he wants you to stay in here without bossing you around. ]

[ There's a gasp that comes from her when he mentions that he's going to be outside the city. Tears are already starting to prickle at her eyes, but she's holding it all back. ]

I -- I do not mind helping her out. When are the three of you leaving?

[voice]

[ Oh but he heard that. ] It'll be alright Lauren, don't worry.

I'm going to meet them at the gate in an hour.
