Summary: Some of the inhabitants of Paradise are a little stir-crazy.
Xigbar had taken little notice to the flooding around him until now; his steps were careful and, when he had first left the Tower apartments, his gait was quite easy-going. Now, halfway to Solamente Park, he had almost reached his destination, and his stride had become more predatory and he had fallen back into a mindset which was alert and graceful. His thoughts drifted as he walked. He was supposed to only spar with a girl, but when had he not given it all? When was the last time he had practiced with anyone? A sigh nearly escaped his lips when he thought of dueling Su, however friendly it was supposed to be. He had recharged enough since his teleportation to Nill's shop, but he was still uneasy. Why did he feel as if he was disadvantaged?
Xigbar banished these questions immediately upon arrival. The ground had basically been transformed into a shallow pool from the rain, but that would not be too hindering, he supposed. His steps were still abnormally quiet as he proceeded forward, unwilling to seem too skittish about his meeting with Su. She had said that she had wings, and that was about all he knew about her; and that was exactly what he would be using to help him spot her.
