A distraction. Signing up to become a pirate sounded like a good distraction from the disaster that was Valentine's Day. Anything to get out of her room. At least back home she always had Rem or Ryuk or her boyfriend with her. Four walls weren't people. She needed to get out.
Plus she found new striped stockings in her closet and this was the perfect excuse to wear them. Misa fingered the hilt of her sword, the blade bouncing against her ragged skirt. Becoming a pirate, yay! This was something that had to be done in person!
She looked at Ravi's name on the door and cheerfully knocked. Hopefully he was in his room. A proper pirate would take a hostage. Maybe she'd make him walk the plank.
