It's his second birthday away from home, another year without his mother's presence and gifts of every piece of
confectionery or any gift he could ever wish for.
He straightened his sunglasses, a sun screen charm spread across his face protecting him from the glare of the Paradisa sun as he moves through the crowds in the town.
His steps stopped outside Uki's shop and a smile crossed his face in anticipation of seeing his friend. At least his birthday wouldn't be entirely joyless, he mused to himself as he walked through the door.
