Captain Hammer arrived a bit later than he had planned on, due to some last minute primping (otherwise known as watching himself in the mirror far longer than is necessary. Also, he may have been singing). He crunched his way through the snow, wearing nearly nothing against the cold other than his standard boots/cargo pants/Hammershirt/gloves uniform. The one thing different he is wearing is a bright red Santa-hat trimmed with white fur and boasting a Hammer-in-a-yellow-circle on the front that matches the one on his shirt.
He walks into the golf dome and pauses a moment to dust some accumulated snow from his shoulders in a didn't-much-noticed manner, and then glanced around a moment before spotting Anya. He gave her an acknowledging wave, headed over to the desk to retrieve his golf ball (blue with a bright yellow spiral) and admired it as he sat next to Anya.
"Well, hello there! Haven't been waiting long, I hope?" He gave her a dashing smile to let her know that everything was okay: Captain Hammer was here now!
When Anya suggested they all just meet up for mini golf, she easily accepted that as the least awkward-inducing choice. Which, all in all, was a lot coming from her. Willow dressed warmly in jeans and a log sleeved green sweater, a striped scarf in complimenting greens tucked loosely around her neck.
After picking up the envelope of money she was so pointedly reminded of, she made her way to the course.
On the way to the golf place, Billy was going over most of the ways that this little outing could go disastrously wrong. And there were alot. Tromping through the snow, shoulders hunched under his hoodie and scarf, he didn't make a very festive image.
There was always the chance that Hammer would just beat him to a pulp right there, as soon as he walked in. Though, he supposed that was probably just wishful thinking. There was revealing his identity to worry about, and 'accidental' injury, and any number of other things that he had the sinking feeling would be littered throughout this little 'date.'
By the time he reached the building, he was downright glowering at the snow under his feet as he walked, wishing that he was absolutely anywhere than where he was right then.
When he got close to the building though, he glanced up and slowed. Ahead of him, nearly at the door, was Willow.
"Hey," he called out automatically, catching up with her outside the door and glowering a little less.
Anya smiled at Captain Hammer, and was about to inform him that she hadn't been waiting long at all, when everyone else arrived as well. Smiling at Willow and Billy, she gestured toward the stand, "I've already picked my golf-ball, and Captain Hammer's made his selection as well."
It was nice to see Willow out and not behind a computer of some sort, and she was positive that it was good for this Billy character to get outside and socialize as well. After all, this was what friends were for!
"This should be fun, I haven't been here in a while."
Captain Hammer gave Billy one of those large, dark grins as he stood to greet them.
"Billy! How long has it been?" He slapped an arm over Billy's shoulder and spun him around so they could have a private word. "Have a thing for redheads, eh Billy? I've heard this one shares your particular interest for the science-techy stuff. Tell me, do her inventions actually work, or do you two just ... fiddle knobs?"
Before Billy has a chance to reply, he spins him back around so they're facing the girls again. Hammer gives Billy an extra squeeze.
Willow stared at the stranger for a moment, knowing him as Captain Hammer from simple elimination. Her own personal fashion choices aside -- and really, they were never as bad as Cordelia implied -- she really wasn't sure what to make of his hat.
She felt vaguely thankful to be Jewish.
She smiled briefly at Billy, sharing a little nod in greeting before turning her attention back to the man in the oddly decorated red hat.
"I'm Willow," and she extended a hand to shake his, deciding that someone needed to take control of the introductions.
Billy put on his best hiding-inner-evil-and-hatred face as soon as he walked through the door and found Hammer on the other side, smiling as always...the smug bastard.
He winced a touch when Captain Hammer clapped him on the back, and the expression turned into an incredulous glare when he was pulled aside for that private word. Before he knew it, however, they were facing the girls again, and he was forced to smear a smile over the anger.
He never thought he'd be grateful for Willow talking to Hammer, but it at least gave him a moment to better compose himself.
Anya was so pleased that everyone was getting along so well! It wasn't awkward or unusual at all, though that Billy guy was going to have to relax if he was going to actually enjoy himself.
"So, we're all set? We can start with the first hole and keep score on the little slips of paper! We can make a friendly wager of some sort, to make things interesting."
Captain Hammer took Willow's hand in both of his and gave her a warm smile with his introduction, playing it up for Billy's sake. When Anya spoke, he turned his attention back to her, his ever present aura of Ego in full blast.
"I'll wager a kiss that I can beat you!" He said with a grin.

It was mini golf. And there was snow. And Billy.
It was going to be a good day.
Right?

Did she really like -- there was no way she was going to call him any kind of tool in her head. Especially captain of them.
"We are taking bets?"
