Shawn generally, at his best, really didn't get higher than fifteen years-old.
He believed that it wasn't really a personal choice on his part, it was just how he was. After all, Gus was more than capable of being responsible. Shawn wanted him to feel useful, and therefore he took on the job of being the irresponsible one who always needed money. It was a system. A system that worked rather well in Shawn's opinion, and when Shawn had an opinion, he knew it was only a matter of time before he got Gus to come around.
But Gus wasn't here at the moment, and Shawn was taking fully advantage of the fact that his maturity didn't get higher than fifteen by gathering as many of the leaves together as he could. This involved doing actual work -- a rake in one hand as he continued to work, but the end result was well worth the effort. Shawn big giant piles of leaves? Not only excellent for jumping into, but also for hiding from view.
He's also singing as he goes, using the end of the rake for a microphone and after a while, adding in

Tifa has to pause for a moment to take all of that in. Her head tilted slightly to the side as she listened for a moment. Of course, the site of a grown man acting like a big kid, was a bit amusing.
Her lips pressed into a thin line in order to stifle a small laugh.
It didn't take long for Shawn to notice that he had an audience, and once he did, as oppose to shying away and, you know, stopping, he just amped it up even more, letting his more hammish nature come out. He never minded making a bit of a fool of himself. It just came with the territory.
Was he aiming to impress? How...cute. She opted to continue to feed him hamming by completely stopping to watch him. She folded her arms across his chest and cocked her hips out a bit to the side. A brow lifted and she smirked slightly.
Whether it was right or not, Tifa wouldn't have been aware. So, she still lifted her hands and gave him a round of applause. "Bravo," she said with a chuckle in her voice.
"This is the first time I've seen a fall like this in quite a few years," she said. Fall in the mountains was always pretty in her home town. She could remember full seasons from those days, where as in Midgar it had always been just nastey. At least Edge there was sky that could be seen, even if it looked polluted most of the time.
Santa Barbra? The quizzical look on Tifa's face was showing that she had never heard of a place. That look erased though when he introduced himself. "Shawn, I'm Tifa." She met his hand with her and gripped it, perhaps a little firm for woman's grip, and gave it a gracious shake.
Shawn had no problem with firm women's grips. He happened to like a woman who could put him in his place, but that was another matter entirely. He didn't miss the confused look, however, because that just was what he did.

"Thank you, Cleveland !"
He paused for a minute, before frowning slightly. "Wait, that's not right."
