Kaylee had taken a break from her epic blanket fort building (and maintenance since over time the blankets were drooping slightly) to go wander down to the first floor. She had ended up in the kitchen and managed to eat a halfway decent lunch. Only the cookies were outright 'junk food'.

Back in the hallway she didn't know which way to go. She looked up and down the hall. Maybe someone here knew her and she could have someone to play with. Her hair was all brushed properly and everything so she could get right to playing.

Down the hall from where she stood a familiar figure was pacing. A very familiar figure. She only knew ONE person in the whole wide castle with a mask like that.

She grinned and went toward him, one little hand hanging onto the strap of the pink backpack she had on, the other waving at the figure.

"Vaaaalentiineee! Valentine!"

He stopped midstep and stared for a few moments. A little girl shouting his name? Well, at least she was a distraction (a distraction that knew him? did he know any little girls?) - Valentine wasn't terribly good at recognizing people when they didn't look like them...

He waved a bit. "Hello!"

Valentine was certain he sounded in a good mood. He didn't want to ruin anyone else's mood.

"Hiya Valentine!" She bounced a little where she was standing, craning her neck a bit to look up at him.

"Whatcha doin'? Guess what? The castle moveded me from eighteenleven to sixteenleven! An' an' I got a blanket fort cos I got lots of blankets. An' an' Eustace gave me crayons so I can draw in the journal. They're in here."

She motioned to her pink backpack, which had her drow plushie sticking partway out of it.
