Roxas wasn't sure what to think.
He sat on the edge of his bed, elbows resting on his knees. He stared at the keyblade leaning against his dresser, not feeling very much at all. That thing was always an omen of things to come. He thought it meant the world was in trouble. That maybe the heartless were going to invade. That he might end up a part of Sora again. He never thought anything like this would happen.
Axel was back, or so it seemed. The keyblade was now the least of his worries.
For half a year he had been trying to forget Axel. He had argued and fought "Lae" so many times he had lost count. And now, now that he had finally come to some sort of middle ground where he didn't feel guilty or upset every time he spoke to the redhead... he came back.
Roxas sighed and rubbed the side of his face. He didn't know what to do. He was afraid. He was nervous. And a part of him was happy that he would be able to apologize to the right person for once. All he knew was that old saying was true: you really never realize how important someone is until they're gone.
