Who: Eustace and Akira
What: First lesson in swordplay?
When: Tomorrow morning
Where: Behind the castle
Rating: PG
Eustace heard the knock on his door and rushed to get dressed. The ghosts were handy for these sort of occasions. He didn't really need an alarm clock or a wake up call but he had asked the ghost just in case anything had gone wrong.
He bent down and pulled his sword out from underneath his bed. He put on his sheath and checked his appearance in the mirror.
His wardrobe consisted of Narnian wear and school uniforms but he already knew what his choice would be. He didn't want to seem pretentious, This wasn't Narnia. He didn't need any finery. He would look like a foppish prig if he wore the Narnia clothes. And it wasn't like he he was meeting up with Sansa or anything.
He made it down the stairs in record time. Maybe it was enthuasiam or maybe it was fear of not being able to show any accomplishments if Aslan, Jill or Caspian showed up in this world. If Aslan really was in Paradisa which he must be because why else would Eustace have been turned into a dragon, he would most definitely be disappointed in Eustace's lack of activity.
He headed outside to the back of the castle and surveyed the area. No one else seemed to be around and that would meet Akira's requirements.
He wondered what Akira looked like. He wondered if Akira would be suprised at his age. He was taller than Lucy and she was older than him so maybe it wasn't that bad. He stood straighter as he saw somebody comming toward him. He didn't want to make a bad first impression.
Akira seemed to have been a very peculiar person through the journal and he didn't want to gain his disdain.
